Hey! My name is Christopher! I look forward to meeting you, but first, let me share a few things about myself!
I was born and raised in Santa Maria, CA. I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 13 years and always knew I wanted to do hair even as a child. When I was 6 years old, I always wanted to play with my moms hair and always wanted to braid it. My mother was the first person to show me how to braid hair at a young age. From that day I was so in love with hair.
A couple of years later, my cousin became my inspiration and motivation to do hair, she had gone to beauty college and started working behind the chair as a stylist. She eventually opened up her own beauty salon! Finding any excuse to spend time in her salon, I would spend numerous hours learning so much from not only her, but the stylists around her. After graduating high school, I completed my cosmetology coarse and received my state license. It was then when I was able to pursue my dream, I started working with my cousin side by side at her salon, finally getting my hands on hair!
One day, as I was doing an up style for a Bride, I focused on the point she was getting her makeup done by someone else. I seen this as an opportunity for me to continue my education and learn something completely new! I broadened my work portfolio and started my makeup career! As a make up artist, I’ve worked for MAC Cosmeticsfor 5 years! Working for MAC was one of my dreams, I’ve learned so much, from working with different skin types, color blending, contouring, but most importantly, I met some wonderful people in my makeup career journey.
When I am passionate about something, I give it my 100%. This industry is my passion and will always be. It not only has guided me to where I want to be in life, it has made me the person I am today. With that said, hope to see you soon for your hair and makeup needs!
